The world of Flower Road Masafumi Sanai

This photobook is the 7th volume published under photographer Masafumi Sanai's independent label, "Taisyo (Contrast/Correspondence)." It was released concurrently with the album Sekai no Flower Road by the rock band 100s (led by Kazuyoshi Nakamura).

Sanai spent a year photographing the Flower Road shopping street in Koiwa—Kazuyoshi Nakamura's hometown—which serves as the backdrop for the album jacket. The book captures the "original landscape" of this retro and colorful street, filled with vibrant signs and products, through full-color photographs.

This volume vividly documents the colors and scenes hidden within the everyday, resonating with the album's thematic music.
