A new personal document by Tatsuo Suzuki, The Sound of Waves. After the upheaval of the pandemic and the death of a close friend, Suzuki began to photograph water. Shooting the water around him, rivers, and the sea with relentless persistence, his images gradually transformed into something vivid and intense. The title evokes the roar of crashing waves; mourning and a praise of life, together with the punk-rock spirit at his core, intertwine and surge forward like a great swell. Known for his Tokyo street photography, Suzuki here turns to a private sequence confronting life and death. Self-published as BUNDLE No.1 (2025). This copy is signed.
