Practice 03 Anonymous Us Kazuhei Kimura

Practice is an ongoing series that maintains a fixed book format to explore the idea of "practice" in photography. In this third installment, Anonymous Us, photographer Kazuhei Kimura deconstructs the landscape of a wedding—often considered the most celebratory day in one’s life.
Born in 1993, Kazuhei Kimura is a photographer known for capturing the subtle atmospheres of everyday life with a unique sense of color. While he works extensively in commercial photography, magazines, and artist portraits, he also continues to actively present his own personal artistic projects.
The premise is deliberate: the faces of the subjects are never identifiable. By stripping away the symbols of specific individuals while retaining the palpable sense of joy, the images are detached from personal memory, transforming them into universal "found photos." Born from Kimura's experimental process of prioritizing spontaneity and immediate publication, this work serves as a quiet narrative that invites viewers to imagine their own stories and re-examine the true meaning of celebration.
