Set in Tono, Iwate Prefecture, this work captures the essence of raw sensation before it can be named, alongside those fleeting moments where nature and the physical body intertwine—all seen through the presence of the horses that live there.

True to its title "Pneuma," which translates to "breath," "spirit," or "soul," the book is quietly alive with the presence of unseen life. Woven together through Endo's distinct sense of color and rhythm, these images blur the boundaries between landscape and existence, inviting us into a primal relationship with the world around us.
