*This book is secondhand.
This is a Mannerist natural history collaboratively created by photographer Yoshihiko Ueda, art historian Yoshiaki Nishino, and designer Kenya Hara. Ueda photographed over one hundred carefully selected rare stoneware artifacts from the collection of The University Museum, The University of Tokyo, using distinctive lighting against a black background.
These stoneware pieces, referred to as "Senseware"—a medium that inspires humanity—are captured with striking fidelity and artistic vision.
