    Lula JAPAN issue20

    €19,95

Each issue of Lula Japan takes one color as its theme and expresses the meaning of that color from multiple perspectives.
The theme color for this issue is “asagi-iro,” an ancient Japanese color.

British photographer Ashton Hugh captured a fashion story filled with an imaginary atmosphere.
Modernity and tradition, Japanese and Western, and other contradictory elements coexist in this eclectic expression.
The color of asagi, scattered throughout the collection, and the mysterious magic of the collection pieces.

A colorful personality that fuses with fashion and draws a new balance.
Their joyful appearance is like dainty flowers blooming in the cracks of asphalt.
Paris-based photographer Allyssa Heuzé captures in London a modern fashion story filled with the joy of spring.

Russian-born photographer Irina Rozovsky lives in Georgia, USA.
Known for her monographs of people and landscapes in specific locations, she has created a new body of work for Lula Japan.
Through Irina's interpretation of “asagi-iro,” a bit of sadness comes to the surface from photographs in which childhood and play are the themes.

The human body, animals, and abstract forms in repeated metamorphosis.
Alexandra Duprez, an artist from Brittany, France, whose creations are inspired by outsider art and folk art, has drawn a special artwork based on “Asagi-iro”.
Mysterious creatures inhabit the unconscious universe created through an intuitive approach.
