KG＋SELECT 10 YEARS, 10 ARTISTS

The award division of KG+, a satellite event of the Kyotographie International Photography Festival, launched in 2015 and was renamed the "KG+SELECT Award" in 2019. Over the past decade, the award winners have used the support received through this platform to propel their artistic careers onto the global stage. Their wide-ranging activities—including publishing photobooks, exhibiting at international photography festivals, and being featured in domestic and global media—continue to attract widespread attention.

This monumental volume brings together the 10 past award winners, who have re-edited their photographic works specifically for this book, alongside personal essays reflecting on their artistic journeys from the time of their win to the present day.

The perspectives of these ten brilliant photographers mirror the path that the KG+ Award has walked over the past ten years, while simultaneously pointing toward the future of photographic expression.
