Hajimari no Hi Rinko Kawauchi

A picture book by Rinko Kawauchi, a Kimura Ihei Award-winning photographer (Kyuryudo). Kawauchi, who has delicately captured light, water, and the glimmer of small lives, weaves the moment of being born and meeting the world under the theme of "the first day," in pale, limpid images and words. In the form of a picture book rather than a photobook, it offers a quiet blessing on birth and the cycle of life, drawing the viewer into a gentle light.
