A collection of photographs and poems that Ikko Narahara published through Gendai Hanga Center in 1983, subtitled "Venice in Photographs and Poems." Taking the misty city of water as its subject — true to the "aerial perspective" of its title, in which distance dissolves and contours blur — it makes light and atmosphere themselves the subject of lyrical images. A fine expression of Narahara's poetic and painterly sensibility, it quietly gathers the memory of a city and the passage of time. Issued in limited circulation, it is comparatively scarce.
