Bloody Moon Keiko Nomura
Pickup currently unavailable
This is a collection of photographs taken by Japanese photographer Keiko Nomura between 2001 and 2006, not only in Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Fukui, Okinawa, etc.), but also in South India, Hawaii, Paris, and other countries. The photographs are clad in the strong colors that characterize her work, and her consistent focus regardless of location includes subjects such as "a pregnant woman and a baby" and "nature and the city" that are connected to each other. The name of the book is a reference to the reddish-black color of the moon at the time of a total lunar eclipse, which is closely related to the waxing and waning of the "sea" and "woman," the themes of her work.
