Rainbow Rika Noguchi
Pickup currently unavailable
This publication features works from Rika Noguchi’s solo exhibition "Rainbow," held at Taka Ishii Gallery. To preserve the artist’s delicate expression, meticulous attention was paid to every detail of the production, including adjusting the color separation in 1% increments during the pre-press stage.
To translate the unique "airiness" of the parachutes onto the page, the book utilizes "Arabelle" paper—a choice rarely seen in traditional photography monographs—to create a soft, tactile texture that feels as if it is breathing. Furthermore, the pouch-sealed (fukuro-toji) binding invites the viewer to engage with each image in a quiet, intimate encounter, turning the pages one by one to slowly experience the work.
