Lula Japan explores one color per issue, delving into its meaning from multiple angles and expressing it through various creative lenses.
This issue’s theme color is yurushi-iro (聴色), a traditional Japanese hue.
It features a vibrant fashion story captured by Clara Nebeling, a photographer based in London and Berlin, full of sparkling expressions, as well as a delicate, dreamlike fashion narrative by renowned Japanese photographer Takashi Homma, evoking the space between reality and fantasy.
Also included is a one-of-a-kind collaboration between Burgundy-based photographer Terri Weifenbach and Japanese painter Jun Tsunoda.
The issue is filled with content that celebrates craftsmanship and emotional resonance, including stories that evoke a sense of wonder and personal episodes from nine creators inspired by yurushi-iro.
