MIRAGE Daido Moriyama
Pickup currently unavailable
Mirage by Daido Moriyama is a rare and essential collection for anyone tracing the trajectory of world-renowned Japanese photographer Daido Moriyama.
This book is primarily composed of precious, previously unreleased color positive film shots originally taken for the nude photobook Kagero in 1972—the very same year his masterpieces Farewell Photography and the Record series were born. The intense energy and unique color aesthetics of that era are perfectly captured within these pages.
Mirage was produced as the fourth installment of the exceptional publishing project "MMM," featuring photography and planning by Daido Moriyama, editing by Hisako Motoo, and graphic design by Satoshi Machiguchi.
Limited to a first edition of just 1,000 copies worldwide, this volume comes in a substantial hardcover binding with a beautiful slipcase.
