This photobook by Yoshihiko Ueda is one volume in the "Vision of Japan" series published by Korinsha, which introduces Japanese photographers. It comprises two distinct bodies of work: the "QUINAULT" series, which captures the sacred forests of Native Americans, and the "AMAGATSU" series, featuring photographs of the Butoh dancer Ushio Amagatsu, founder of Sankai Juku.
The book design was handled by Kaoru Kasai.
