Shinnosuke Yoshimori photographed a landscape overlaying Jomon's original landscape on present-day nature in the area where the Jomon once lived. Having lived in the natural world, the Jomon people left a cultural legacy at the base of Japan, and as their lives burned in the primordial Japan, they became a story, a fire that will never go out.
