Designed by Satoshi Machiguchi, its small pages, turned within the hand, carry Moriyama's characteristic coarse-grained monochrome in dense succession. Though the city of Paris is the subject, it is not landmarks or tourist views but a rapid accumulation of miscellaneous visual fragments, of the street, shadows, signs and passers-by, in which the speed of a body walking the city and the appetite of its gaze take direct form. Moriyama keeps renewing this city, which he had photographed repeatedly since his early work Paris, as a 'plus.' The very physical presence of the book, at once thick and small, embodies his method of the accumulated snapshot.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0758/0218/1921/files/1_fdd03f95-1216-4a0c-a36d-715d439769bc.jpg?v=1793233565
