A collection of works by photographer Toshiya Murakoshi. This work captures the landscape of his hometown, Fukushima, through the event of his grandmother's bereavement. He could hardly photograph his grandmother, who was growing thinner and thinner day by day as her death approached. After his grandmother passed away, he continued to photograph the local landscape, which was filled with memories of his grandmother. He felt her presence more strongly from the photographs of the scenery around his parents' house than from those of his grandmother. This taught him that his family and the landscape of his hometown were irreplaceable. This experience became the starting point for him to continue photographing the landscape of his hometown.
